Feedback
Feedback is one of the most valuable things we give each other. Here’s how we approach it.
In the moment
The best feedback is timely. Don’t save it for a review — share it while it’s still relevant. A quick “that went well because…” matters more than you think.
Specific and actionable
Good feedback focuses on behaviour and impact, not personality. “When you did X, the effect was Y” is far more useful than vague praise or vague criticism.
Received well
Taking feedback well is a skill too. We listen, we don’t get defensive, and we ask questions to understand. You don’t have to act on everything — but do reflect on it.
Recognition
We celebrate people — often, and out loud.
Shoutouts
We keep a dedicated space for calling out great work. Spotted someone going above and beyond? Say so publicly. A shoutout takes 30 seconds and can make someone’s week.
Quarterly recognition
Every quarter we celebrate standout contributions at our company all-hands. Nominations come from peers and People Leads — it’s a team prize, not a management one.
