What we look for

These are the eight skills and attributes we look for during our hiring process, this is what will tell us whether someone will thrive at Enablis. We defined these by looking at what our great team of Enablers already share.

Critical Thinking & Judgement

The ability to cut through ambiguity, get to the root of a problem, weigh the evidence and make defensible calls under pressure — then change your mind cleanly when better information arrives. We look for people who don’t just execute the brief, they interrogate it.

Leadership

Leading yourself with honesty and self-awareness, and bringing that same clarity to the people, client work and problems around you. Knowing what you know and what you don’t, taking ownership without waiting to be asked, and leaving things better than you found them.

Outcome Ownership

Treating the client’s outcome as your own — measuring success by impact rather than activity. Stepping in when something’s drifting, pushing back on direction you don’t believe in, and seeing your work through to landing rather than to “done”.

Adaptive Collaboration

Being effective inside other people’s teams. Reading a new context and adjusting your style to be useful, building credibility quickly with stakeholders at any level, and landing hard messages without burning the relationship.

Curiosity & Growth

Never standing still. Self-directed learning across both the depth of your craft and the breadth of adjacent fields, an appetite for new tools — including AI tools — and the habit of asking sharper questions of the work, your clients and yourself.

Technical Expertise

Real depth in your craft that compounds over time and earns you the standing to be trusted with harder problems — paired with enough breadth across adjacent disciplines to collaborate well and see how your piece fits the whole.

AI Fluency

Using AI tools effectively, critically and with genuine accountability for the outcome. Being an active learner who shares what works and is honest about where AI misleads — while never delegating accountability for the result to the tool.

Resilience

Staying effective in the demanding environments consultancies are brought in to support, and working towards better ways of doing things without losing momentum when progress is slow. Staying steady and constructive, and leaving things stronger than you found them.
